We offer two seasonal hakama of very high quality : 

Winter/cold climate hakama - A very thick and heavy polyester/cashmere mix, suitable for cold climates. The heavy fabric has a slight shimmer and looks absolutely stunning. This fabric will fit perfectly to your body and flow with every movement. Also perfect for shows - this hakama will definitely make you stand out in the crowd.

Summer hakama - Our polyester/linen mix is fantastically light and breathable, yet we did not compromise on durability of the fabric. An absolute must for hot/tropical climates.

In both of these models the ratio of polyester is especially selected for optimal appearance as well as durability of your hakama.

Both types of fabric are suitable for your heavy duty everyday aikido training. Both of these hakama uniform have an excellent cut, which perfectly moulds to the shape of your body, and as a result can also be used during public shows. A tough and yet, elastic koshiita is designed so that it does not get in the way of repetitive ukemi falls during aikido training.

Our hakama are made to fit your height as well as girth so we ask you to provide both your waist measurements as well as the length of the hakama that you wish to have.

What is my size?
The size of the hakama is calculated from the bottom edge of the tie belt to the very bottom edge of the hakama, see example at the bottom of the page. NB! When determining your size remember that women tie their hakama on their waist line where as men tie it on their hips! Measure your lenght from the hip (men) or waist (women) down to the middle of your ankle bone.
Small sizes (children's) and extra large sizes are also available by special order. Contact us for details. 

We recommend embroidery of  your name (or anything else) on your hakama in a choice of colours. On black hakama "gold" embroidery looks great!

Washing instructions: Machine wash in cold water. If you feel you must use detergent please DO NOT use anything that contains bleach or whitening agents, such as a mild woolwash detergent. Please avoid the use of dryers, they will reduce the life of your hakama. If you must use a dryer, use a LOW temperature.
